These clippers are amazing they cut like butter
For the first month, the clippers are FANTASTIC. love the weight, balance, power and quietness. After that month was up I was discouraged to find that they are very temperamental, especially once the battery is at 2/3. Despite frequently cleaning and oiling my blades, I was told that this is a defensive mechanism of the motor to prevent it from overheating. I am still using them however as I have learned to deal with the quirks of this mechanism. I would recommend buying the kit with two batteries as for the most part, this keeps said quirk in check. Luckily, despite not ordering the 2 battery combo the first time, upon sending it in to PSD for it's issues, they sent me a new kit with two batteries. Thank you PSD!
The Heiniger rep had recommended that I try the Saphir as the motor is not as sensitive. I have yet to invest in one but my groomer loves hers so far. it's not quite as powerful, nor as quiet, but I'm sure it is just an acquired taste.
Aside from the "quirks" of this clipper, I really do enjoy using it. battery life is /OKAY/, it is quiet, light weight, ergonomically designed and well balanced
