This is a great product with many possible uses. I have one main loop attached to my favorite flank strap to clip to the rear pole. The Loop Dawgy Dawg is a good stand-in for the expensive (but worth it) Groomer's Helper. I am buying a second one as some of the pieces of the first have wandered off. I swear that there is a black hole in my shop that sucks up stuff! This time I will have a dedicated drawer for all the pieces that aren't always used. Here's a tip if you have not used a head restraint before: Attach to the bottom of the pole or at least low enough the dog's neck to that the head is lower than the shoulders. This keeps the dog from rearing up. Of course, there is the occasional dog that goes berserk in restraints. This brings me to my main criticism of the Loop Dawgy Dawg. I wish it had a quick-release snap. And, please groomers, have compassion when using restraints. If a pet freaks out, find another way! Barbara Bird, 1/2 of The GroomPod.
