I use this comb on every single dog to give the face or paws one last fluff out before scissoring, or fluffing up poodle hair. The finish it leaves is amazing, but I think it's misleading to call it a "dematting comb."
The prongs are not very strong, and applying any force will bend them out of shape easily. I would NOT recommend using this comb for dematting, but it makes an amazing finishing comb.
